ABOUT EXPEDITIONS INTERNATIONAL AND FRONT RANGE MOUNTAIN GUIDES

Expeditions International is an Adventure Travel and Mountain Guide Service and Climbing School that has been leading trips throughout the United States and around the world for over 21 years. Our professional guides have over a dozen years each of experience in trekking and technical climbing in almost every area of the world. Our safety record is perfect and our quality programs have earned us the confidence of R.E.I., and Eastern Mountain Sports, and a host of other outdoor retailers who refer their customers to us for training and adventures.

In Colorado, we offer mountaineering, technical rock climbing instruction and guided ascents throughout the year. We also offer these activities in the warmth of Southern California and Arizona during the winter months of November through April. Internationally we lead treks and climbs in countries from Mexico and South America to Russia and New Zealand.

Our ascent covers several to eight days. Each day's climb takes most of the day to complete and ends at the arrival of a hut where we spend the evening. No technical climbing experience is needed to do this climb, but good physical conditioning, along with a strong desire are needed to succeed. Our "huts" are beautiful little rustic mountain lodges, which provide beds with pillows, fresh linens, and warm blankets. Hot meals are cooked each evening. All we have to carry in our packs is each days' lunch, rain gear, and extra clothing. All-in-all, an ideal trip to introduce someone to the joys of mountain hiking!
