The Jacksonville Skydiving Center, Inc. was opened in 1990 to provide the highest quality of student training in Jacksonville. This training, during the weekday evenings, allow the weekend to be free to SKYDIVE! This program made it simple and easy for the working individual to complete the four hours of ground school locally on a Thursday or Friday evening and be ready and fresh come Saturday morning. Also by starting early, you can make up to four jumps that day if you wish....
and most do!
All of our instructors are licensed by the United States Parachute Association. We are the ORIGINAL Skydive Training Center in Jacksonville.

After approximately five hours of instruction you put on your own parachute. You and your professional Instructor board the aircraft and climb to an altitude of 3,500 feet. You exit the aircraft and your parachute is automatically deployed. Under radio guidance from the ground you descend through the sky flying your own parachute at 35+ mph and enjoying a breathtaking 5-7 minute parachute ride!
Tandem is a system that attaches you with your Jump Master under your parachute built for two. After a 20-minute lesson, we'll jump from 11,000 feet, free-falling at 187 feet per second for 35 seconds. Then you can pull the ripcord and enjoy a breathtaking 5-7 minute parachute ride. Since we're weightless in freefall, you won't notice that your Instructor is right there with you!
After approximately six hours of instruction you put on your own parachute. You and your own (two) professional Instructors board the aircraft and climb to an altitude of 11,000 feet. The three of you exit the aircraft together and your two Instructors assist you throughout your 45-second free-fall in which you experience the thrill of free flight reaching speed of over 120 mph!
The Jacksonville Parachute Demonstration Team is comprised of four Instructors/ Jumpmasters with the experience, skill and professionalism you expect. Each team member is hand picked and represents the best in the sport. The team leader and captain, Ed Howard, has been performing demonstrations for over twenty years and has made over two hundred performances.
