O.A.R.S. (Outdoor Adventure River Specialists) sets the standard for high quality service, safety and excellence in adventure travel. Holding strong roots as Grand Canyon's pre-eminent non-motorized outfitter, O.A.R.S. and Grand Canyon Dories have grown this reputation bringing folks into remote wilderness areas throughout the West and internationally.
We offer first class programs in Whitewater Rafting, Sea Kayaking, Fishing, Mountain Biking, and 4WD Combination Adventures. Our experience in these areas is extensive, so feel free to contact us to find out more about trips in any area or recreation type you may be interested in. Currently headlining our repertoire of river trips are Idaho's Middle Fork, Main, Lower Salmon and Hells Canyon. Wherever you choose, in Idaho, O.A.R.S. offers the largest selection of boats on more rivers than any outfitter. Our California adventures include Class IV epics such as the Tuolumne, North Fork American, Upper Klamath, and Merced. Families and first-timers particularly enjoy Class III rivers like the Lower Klamath or South Fork American. We also custom-tailor packages for corporate, youth, and other groups.
