Dear Sailor | Sailing Classes | Membership | The OCSC Fleet | Skippered Charters | Directions to OCSC

Dear Sailor,

You've probably been thinking about learning to sail for years. Maybe you've gone on boat rides with friends or even taken a class, but never followed up. It's always a challenge to balance limited free time and budget. The modern approach to sailing is easier, affordable and more fun than you might imagine. Professional instruction and certification on beautiful charter boats is available locally and worldwide. You can sail anyway you want - anywhere - as much or as little as you like - anytime - and all without having to own a boat!

I invite you to call or visit and we will be happy to answer your questions and give you a tour of the yachts and facilities. If you already know you want to learn to sail or improve your skills, let us help you choose the right class.

If you just want to give sailing a try we've created a couple of easy and inexpensive ways to take the first step. Every Wednesday evening we have a two hour sail and once each month there is a four hour sail and BBQ on a Saturday. Either way, under the guidance of a professional instructor you'll step aboard one of our 30 foot cruising yachts, raise sails and slip around the breakwater to discover the best sailing in the United States - right here on San Francisco Bay!

You may say to yourself, "What have I been waiting for? I can do this! In fact I probably could do this for the rest of my life! There is nothing hard about it. I don't need to own a boat. I can take lessons at my own pace. I can go sailing anytime I want, for a few hours or days at a time. I can take my friends and family on a bareboat charter vacation in the Caribbean or Tahiti and skipper the boat myself. I can ........"

If sailing is for you, you can do anything you want, all you have to do is take the first step. Give us a call today or stop by and visit. We are here for you when you are ready to go sailing.

Best regards,

Anthony Sandberg
President, OCSC Inc.
