Parasoft, Inc. Paragliding School is one of the most established paragliding schools in Colorado. Since 1990, our U.S. Hang Gliding Association certified instructors have trained hundreds of students. Our instructors' years of experience in the sport, combined with our state-of-the-art equipment, ensures exciting and fun paragliding instruction.

We start on the ground, teaching students how to inflate and control the canopy. Students then progress from flights only a few feet off the ground to high altitude soaring.

Parasoft offers paragliding lessons for beginners as well as experienced pilots.

SAFETY: Parasoft considers your personal safety its number one priority and uses training techniques and equipment to minimize risks. We incorporate a specially designed paraglider simulator in our training. We issue all the equipment necessary for a safe and fun learning experience including knee pads, gloves, and back protectors to our students. We use only certified gliders appropriate for beginning pilots in our instruction.

FACILITIES: Parasoft has access to two training hills in the Boulder area with launches up to 700 feet high. In addition, we are able to tow you 3000 feet high with our pay-out winch or take you to high-country drive-up mountain sites in our 4-wheel drive vehicle. We also offer the convenience of a full-service retail shop and classroom for ground school.

PERSONALIZED INSTRUCTION: Parasoft has a maximum class size of five students to allow for extensive personal instruction. Each student is provided with their own paraglider to maximize hands-on experience. This costs us more; but your safety and progress require it.

TOWING: Parasoft is the only school in the Rocky Mountain region that has extensive experience using towing as part of our comprehensive training program. Tandem Instruction: We offer tandem instruction so that you can fly with an experienced pilot to learn difficult maneuvers and techniques more effectively.

INDEPENDENT PARAGLIDER DEALERS: Unlike many other schools that are owned by paraglider manufacturers and can sell only a single brand of paragliders, Parasoft continually evaluates all paragliders on the market and recommends only the best brands available.

We carry demonstration models of all the brands of paragliders that we offer so you can test them yourself in a free demo flight before making your purchase decision.

TANDEM LESSONS
Tandem instruction with one of our experienced staff is a great way to learn about paragliding. If you can run, then you can enjoy a breath-taking flight high above the ground. Nothing comes closer to flying like a bird than paragliding! Experience, first-hand, silent and exciting flight with the wind in your face!

ONE DAY ACCELERATED INTRODUCTORY COURSES
By using tandem instruction and our tow rig, we can concentrate your learning into one day. After ground handling training and towed launches with an instructor, you can experience your first solo flight.

TWO DAY INTRODUCTORY COURSES
This course allows you to give this exciting new sport a try at a low cost with no long-term commitment. Wear long pants and sturdy shoes, bring lunch, and be ready to fly!

P2 COURSES
Designed for people who want to go beyond the introductory level to become safe, competent paraglider pilots. In addition to target landings, emergency procedures, and soaring techniques, you'll practice 360 degree turns, descent techniques and advanced flying maneuvers. Fees include a manual, study guide, two theory sessions, a tandem flight with an instructor and a minimum of four days of instruction.

WINTER FLYING TRIPS TO MEXICO
Parasoft has been doing trips to warm Mexico during our winter months for five years. Twenty mile long thermal flights have been flown and our driver will pick you up where you land and multi-hour ridge soaring flights are common over the mountain resorts. Trips include guide service by 2 USHGA Advanced Paragliding Instructors.
