TANDEM SKYDIVING
Your first skydive will be a Tandem skydive. This is a system whereby the student is attached to the same parachute system as his/her instructor both in freefall, and while open under an oversized parachute built for two. Tandem allows you to experience what skydiving is really like, while your instructor is right there to guide you with equipment operation.
The classes for Tandem jumps are short and concentrate on introducing you to the sport of skydiving with some hands on experience similar to the first flying lessons before solo flight.
Tandem classes begin at 9:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday, and are scheduled by appointment each hour thereafter until sunset. Weekday classes are also available by appointment only. Class space is limited and we recommend scheduling your appointment several days in advance.
All of our Tandem Skydives are made from at least two miles above the ground!!!
ACCELERATED FREEFALL (AFF)
The Accelerated Freefall Program is an intense learning program. You will be jumping with your own parachute and are totally responsible for its operation.The Accelerated Freefall program begins after completion of the Tandem training jumps. You will begin your AFF training with 4 to 6 hours of classroom instruction followed by instruction from two Jumpmasters for further ground training before your jump. Both Jumpmasters are there to assist you during your first AFF jump. Subsequent jumps provide one Jumpmaster for further ground training and to observe your freefall maneuvers, ready to assist. A detailed post-dive critique and review follow each AFF jump.
The AFF class sizes are limited and arranged individually. The freefall instruction is given on a one-to-one basis so you will receive the complete attention of your instructors who take you through ground training and accompany you in freefall. After your post-dive review, you will have the satisfaction of knowing how it feels to be a Skydiver!!!
Freefall photographers are available to capture your experience from take-off through landing, so you can re-live your skydive as often as you like. - Only $75
